How to Donate
The Rice Lake Community Health Foundation was established in 2008 to build a permanent charitable capital (endowment) that can benefit the Rice Lake area now and forever. By giving to your community through the Foundation, you can be assured that your philanthropic wishes are carried out far into the future. Security, flexibility and potential tax advantages are features typically enjoyed by those making contributions to a community foundation.
We invite you to let us help you be an important part of improving the quality of life for present and future generations.
The following are some examples of the types of gifts that can be given to the Rice Lake Community Health Foundation. They may include: cash, appreciated assets, retained life estates, bequests (specific bequest, contingent bequest, or residual bequest), beneficiary designation on life insurance, IRAs, stocks, bonds, charitable remainder trust, or charitable lead trusts. Please consult your tax preparer, attorney, or financial advisor, who can best advise you on the income tax implications of each type of gift.
Please feel free to contact any Rice Lake Community Health Foundation Board Member to discuss how to donate to this worthy cause or if you wish to volunteer for any Foundation activity.
